What is included?

Four tools. A clearer picture of your home.

Use the equipment together to find an area of concern, gather useful information and decide where closer investigation may be worthwhile.

01

Thermal imaging camera

Reveal temperature differences across walls, ceilings, floors, windows and heating systems.

Useful for: cold bedrooms, draughty windows and doors, loft hatches, extensions, dormers, converted garages, uneven radiators, underfloor heating and tracing warm pipe routes.

Why hire it: scan the whole home in one weekend and focus attention on the places most likely to be losing heat—at a fraction of the cost of buying a quality standalone camera.

02

Moisture meter

Take comparative readings from accessible surfaces rather than relying on appearance alone.

Useful for: suspicious staining, condensation and mould-prone areas, checking around windows or plumbing, comparing an affected wall with a dry area and monitoring whether an area is drying.

Why hire it: combine readings with the thermal camera to gather better information before deciding whether ventilation changes, maintenance or specialist advice may be needed.

03

Stud, pipe & cable detector

Help locate studs, metal and electrical cables concealed close behind a wall surface.

Useful for: planning shelves, televisions, cupboards, mirrors and other fixings, finding likely stud positions and checking an intended drilling area.

Why hire it: plan DIY work more confidently, choose better fixing positions and reduce the risk of drilling blindly into something hidden.

04

Borescope inspection camera

Look into narrow, dark or awkward spaces through a suitable existing opening.

Useful for: looking behind cupboards, inside accessible boxing, beneath floorboards, around pipework and into small voids where a normal camera cannot reach.

Why hire it: get a useful first look at an inaccessible area before removing panels, lifting more flooring or opening up finishes unnecessarily.

Start with the question

Turn “something isn’t right” into something useful.

The kit is designed to help you investigate common household questions before guessing, buying materials or arranging unnecessary work.

“Why is this room always colder?”
“Where could heat be escaping?”
“Is the insulation working evenly?”
“Is this suspicious area reading differently?”
“Where are the studs before I drill?”
“Can I look inside without opening everything up?”
